The Cru Houseboats

Two luxurious widebeam boats; Premier Cru and Grand Cru are available for your exclusive use; you will have the whole boat to yourselves. There is a minimum stay of two nights. The total price is £460 for up to six people. The price includes all the full English breakfast provisions, tea, fresh coffee and a bottle of wine. Also a two hour canal cruise at a time to suit your holiday plans is included. Both boats sleep six: Grand Cru has two double rooms and two single sofa beds in the living area. Premier Cru has one double room, one room with two single beds and two single sofa beds in the living area. The canal boats are ten foot wide opposed to a narrowboat which is six foot ten inches wide. There is more interior space in Grand Cru and Premier Cru than a 68ft narrowboat. You will find the boats provide a level of decor, spaciousness and comfort more associated with a floating cottage. The boats have full gas central heating and a wood-burning stove, the boats are very warm and cosy when it’s cold outside. Other features include: Fully fitted kitchen where you can cook your own food, 240-volt electrical system, Freeview TV, DVD/CD player, 300watt surround sound system with an iPod/phone port. Grand Cru has a shower and Premier Cru has a roll top bath. During your stay in Bath you will be able to enjoy: The Roman Baths and Pump Room, The Thermae Bath Spa, The Theatre Royal, The Jane Austen Centre, Bath Abbey, The Herschel Museum of Astronomy and the very entertaining Bizarre Bath Comedy walk. Longleat Safari and Adventure Park and Wookey Hole Caves are only 35 minutes away. An hour’s drive away is the very interesting Hayes Motor Museum and the somewhat disappointing Stonehenge.
