At the entrance they have a brilliant shop and we were warmly received as we walked into the bar, the glowing log fire was just right for a cold wet evening. The drinks and beer were great and it was difficult for my wife to prise me away to the restaurant from the banter with the regulars at the bar. Well we were delighted with the meals obviously freshly made the four of us had a different choice it was lovely enjoyable food and the owner recommended a good bottle of wine. All in all everything was perfect in particular the service and friendliness of the staff and owner. We found it very reasonably priced and will certainly visit again.
