Business Overview

Excellent Traditional Food and Entertainment

The Cree Inn, bar and restaurant. We offer a wide variety of drinks from tea and coffee to tequila and sambucca. A great local bar with an amazing atmosphere makes you feel like one of the locals as soon as you arrive. Newly refurbished bar and restaurant bring this building into the 21st century but also keeping its country charms and quaintness.

In our restaurant we offer a great blend of contemporary and classic foods. All at an affordable price. We also serve a set menu on a Sunday, 2 courses £11.50 and 3 courses £14.50. In all a great friendly atmosphere whatever you are looking for from relaxing to all out partying,

“ This may look like a traditional country pub from the outside but visit when live music session or quiz night are on the go and you will find out that the locals can party as widely as their city cousins” Pub of the week, Daily Record.

Not Impressed
Visited The Cree Inn whilst on a two-day break in Scotland. The restaurant was empty - nobody in there but my partner and I - maybe that says something!
I ordered the home-made burger which came with chips, salad and onion rings. I have to say, the chips and garnish were nice, but the burger completely let the whole meal down. It was very overcooked, which resulted in a very rubbery texture, and the meat hadn't been seasoned at all so it had no flavour whatsoever, and just wasn't very palatable. I mentioned this to the waitress who informed the chef whose response was: we have to cook the meat to a certain temperature! This I understand, but it had obviously been left to cook (at this temperature) for longer than needed. Obviously they weren't interested in rectifying any issues which is why I wouldn't recommend The Cree Inn, or return in the future.
