The Chinese Oakdale

Very polite courteous staff, food always hot and very tasty, huge portions, this is our local chippy/ Chinese and is one of the best, also excellent selection and deals.

So extremely confused by our order,had 3/6 items we wanted said the rest weren’t available,took an hour to show up for them to deliver to the wrong address,it arrived we’ve had all the Chinese’s around here for nearly 20 years now and I kid you not when I say none of the food Chinese Oakdale delivered was actually from the Chinese Oakdale ? Like I said I’ve been ordering from all the ones around here past couple decades and even all the packaging was jumbled up and didn’t match,I don’t know if they couldn’t be bothered to cook or what but half the plate was from red diamond (it’s just up the road from us so we know their food super well, and half was Linda’s house,same packaging and everything both Chinese’s usually come in didn’t even try to disguise the fact it wasn’t their food😂not only this but the food item they said they didn’t have came and the one they said they did have didn’t?Lesson learnt buy the other ones instead cheaper and your getting food from the place you ordered it

Great friendly service and very tasty food cooked fresh to order. Huge portions of chips. Very good all round!

Mixed opinion on this outlet, had a couple of currys from there, one ok the other one the meat was burnt around the edges. Also had fish and chips from there, they have been ok. The problem with this take away is customer service and opening hours, dont rely on them late as they will close early if they feel like it and could be up to anything up to half an hour as stated on there window or on the takeaway leaflets.

Good food, Good price, fast and friendly service. What more can you ask for.
