The Chesterton Hotel

We stayed at Bignell Park Hotel for two nights (23rd - 25th October 2012) as part of a special offer internet deal: bed and breakfast plus three course meal on the first night. The hotel is lovely and set in beautiful grounds. It reminds one of a different era. Our superior double bedroom was spacious and clean with crisp white linen bedding on the king size bed. There were tea and coffee making facilities (& hot chocolate) with lovely biscuits in the room. The complimentary toiletries were of high quality. The choice of dinner we had on our first night was extensive and the quality was excellent. Quite exceptional! Our cooked breakfasts were freshly made, tasty and substantial. But best of all was the staff who were all very welcoming. The waitresses in the restaurant were very profesional as was the breakfast waitress who has a lovely sense of humour. Best of all was the receptionist, Sharon, who could not have been more helpful; she's a really friendly and kind-hearted woman! We will definitely be returning to Bignell Park Hotel and would highly recommend it for a bit of relaxation and rejuvenation.
