The Cavalier Inn

What a great time we had at this pub. We stopped off by chance whilst staying in the town for a couple of days and not only had a very good meal which was excellent value for money but we also had a really good time in the bar afterwards. The staff are really friendly and so were the locals and from the moment we walked in we were made to feel very welcome and not like strangers at all.
The building is obviously very old but is kept to a good standard and nice clean and airy without feeling too modern, it is still a good old fashioned pub. Will definatly be returning again soon
