The Carpenter's House is a family run business, consisting of a husband and wife team, with many years experience in carpentry and renovation of old buildings.

We are not only passionate about restoration projects; but also bring history back into your life by using reclaimed timber for our bespoke furniture and handmade kitchens.

Each of our bespoke pieces has a unique history: whether it is made from reclaimed church pews, school chemistry lab worktops or old flooring timbers. The use of such materials allows us to be eco friendly and cost effective, and breathe new life into old timber so that it can be enjoyed and appreciated for many years to come

Porch Storage

Andy and his team did an outstanding job helping us to design and build our new porch storage. It was great to come across genuine craftsmen and watch them transform our space. Andy was more than happy to chat through and accommodate any changes we requested along the way. We are delighted with the end result and would highly recommend The Carpenters House to anyone who wants true craftsmen who produce outstanding results. Andy also recommended Pete who did an amazing job oiling the oak cabinets inside and out to the same high standard. Great job and thanks to you all.

Just the very best of craftsmanship, Andy and his team replaced my old front door and canopy supports in solid oak. Expert advice and attention to detail from beginning to end. This level of expertise is hard come by these days.

Oak Porch

I was looking for a large bespoke glazed Oak Porch and came across the Carpenters house on Google. I was unsure if anyone local was good enough working with Green Oak to the standard i wanted. All I can say is the Job completed has surpassed my expectations in every way. The fit and quality of craftsmanship is absolutely brilliant, even the time spent finishing off the job and cleaning up on a Friday afternoon showed how thorough they were. I paid the bill on Friday morning as i had to go out, but they were still on the job sanding edges and cleaning up when i got home at 4pm. I will be using them again for my next extension.

Oak porch

Wow, wow, wow!
I had been researching Oak porches online for a while and really struggled to find someone who could bring my vision to life, until I came across The Carpenters House. From my initial engagement with Andy, discussing the design, through to the final build, he was so helpful and professional and knew exactly what we were after.
The whole experience has been fantastic, and the porch looks absolutely stunning. Thanks to the teams craftsmanship and attention to detail, it's really changed the whole appearance of our home.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Carpenters House, they are an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you so much!
