The Bull Inn

Bisham Village, Bisham, Marlow, SL7 1RR Directions

Award winning retro dining with 1st Class service

Once again this year we twice visited the Bull at Bisham (near Marlow) during the late summer as it is one the best restaurants around. In fact, we believe that it is one of the most secret, elegant and desirable dining locations outside of London.
As always, the food was excellent, typically French, covering a whole range of choices from fish, poultry, grills including their spectacular "show stopping" flambées cooked with great panache at your table.
My wife had ordered the lobster thermidor, which was exquisite, whilst I thoroughly enjoyed half a roast duckling cooked in calavados.
For that very special occasion I recommend that you treat yourself to this unusually rare eating experience, we can't wait to go again and enjoy some of the other dishes on the menu.
Few people know that in 2006 the restaurant was awarded the International Restaurant Of The Year Award at the Galician Cuisine Awards held in Spain, a significant and highly prestigious accolade that honours European gastronomic excellence. Try it!
