The Bull

We recently ate in the newly refurbished 'Bull'. Wow...what a transformation. We couldn't fault a thing. The waiting staff were extremely accommodating and immediately made us feel welcome. We ordered scallops and chicken skewers to start, both of which arrived within 20 minutes and for our main course we ate steak and fish and chips. What a mouth watering delicious meal. We moved into the lounge area after our meal to listen to the music, which completed our evening.
We would highly recommend you try 'The Bull'. An all round perfect evening. We shall definitely be visiting again and taking friends with us. Thank you to everyone who made our evening.

Absolutely love the new bull!! I really enjoyed my food and the atmosphere was lovely! I really recommend the pâté and the bull burger! Defiantly going back!!

Living in Brentwood we were looking forward to trying the newly refurbished Bull. It looked like they had done a good job of the renovation and they had. It was very tastefully done and looked good. We hadn't booked but it was empty when we arrived at about 6.30pm on a Sunday evening. The waitress gave us a menu and then proceeded to tell us that practicly everything was unavailable because it had been "busy" We haven't seen anyone in it since we were there and we pass it many times day and evening. My husband wanted to know if there was a vegetarian option she said she would ask the chef and came back and said he could make a vegetable tart which my husband said o.k. to. She took our orders and after 40 minutes we asked how much longer we might have to wait. The food wasn't very good and its not cheap. What a wasted opportunity on their part to miss making a good impression on their new business venture. We won't be going back.
