Business overview

Located in the heart of the city centre - www.bonvivantedinburgh.co.uk

The Bon Vivant was opened in September 2008 by Stuart McCluskey with an idea to create an environment that was similar to those found on the continent; where dining is often informal and casual yet of a very high standard.

Our food philosophy is simple; well executed dishes that focus on flavour and quality produce. We do as the Europeans do, eat small but with thought.

Great New Addition to City Centre

The Bon Vivant is one of the best wine bars in Edinburgh, up there with Le De-Vin.
The Bon Vivant is one of the best value places to eat good food in Edinburgh.
The Bon Vivant has one of the homeliest, comfortable places to drink in Edinburgh.
The Bon Vivant does 8 champagnes by the glass & serves pints in proper pint pots.
I absolutely love this place. The wine list is awesome, with a huge selection by the glass, carafe & bottle. It does starters for £3 or as 'bites' for £1. The main courses are very tasty & average around £7 and here is the best bit, it's just off George Street! You are dead in the centre of Edinburgh & getting more informed service than any of the overpriced flashier locations just hundreds of yards away.
