The Bluecat is a bespoke cattery set in the heart of the beautiful county of Bedfordshire, within the picturesque village of Clophill.

We know that our pets are more than just animals. To us, they are an integral part of our family. Here at The Bluecat, we aim to provide the best care in a totally safe and stress free environment. With just 14 cat chalets, our emphasis is all about love, cuddles and play! By remaining small, we are able to dedicate more personal time to each of the cats in our care and ensure they have the best holiday ever when they stay with us.

Our purpose built luxury chalets offer an ideal home from home for your cat that is both safe and secure, in a peaceful environment. Every cat staying with us receives individual and personal care and attention for the duration of their stay. All the home comforts are available too such as warm chalets, cosy beds, a clean environment and lots of fuss and attention. Our passion is cats and we aim to deliver the best.

So happy to have found this cattery.

Our little boy Otis is very timid and we always worry how he is while we are away. There is no need to worry anymore since we found The Bluecat. We think he gets more time and attention than we can give him at home and is so happy on his holidays with Maxine. Nothing is too much trouble for Maxine, with regular updates on the 'boy wonder' telling us what antics he is up to. He has stayed here twice now and this will be our first choice every time. Thank you Maxine for all you do for us.

Amazing. Cats love it.

Maxine is amazing and very nice to our cat Daisy. Best cattery out there as she treats your cat like its hers. Thats why she does it. She loves cats so much and your cat will be safe and happy at the blue cat cattery.

A lovely, caring cattery

Our cat Barney stayed with Maxine for a few days and could not have been looked after any better. Maxine is obviously a cat lover. The cattery itself is warm, comfortable and absolutely spotless. Best cattery that Barney has stayed at. Recommended.

Very highly recommended!

Highly recommended. We wouldn’t leave our two very nervous moggies anywhere else than with Maxine and Cath at Bluecat.
The place is spotless, the cats get lots of enrichment and attention, but it’s also very peaceful and calm.
If you are questioning whether or not to leave your fur babies at a cattery, don’t hesitate to take them here. Maxine & Cath are amazing, extremely friendly and caring.

Cuddles and play

Maxine takes great care to ensure that the cats settle in as quickly as possible. Her interaction with much needed cuddles and play provides the cats with wecolming environment. The cattery is beautifully clean and well planned out and I trust Maxine implicitly with my feline care. I just wish I had found Blue cat cattery sooner. Thank you so much Maxine from myself and my felines.
