I'm really upset over the quality of customer service offered by The Beauty Spot in Bradford on Avon.
Last August, all of the mums from my nct group very kindly clubbed together and as a 30th birthday present got me an £80 gift voucher. I was heavily pregnant at the time. To my dismay, when I got the voucher out, I discovered that it was only valid for 6 months, and it was 5 weeks past the expiry date.
It took several phone calls and another week before the manager phoned me back. She wasn't interested and wouldn't make any exception - apparently a couple of weeks past the date might have been acceptable but 5 weeks was simply more than she could bear.
I am so disappointed and just don't understand why they would adopt this position. I'm never going to use them now despite it being my nearest salon.

The girls that work at the shop are amazing. Always make me feel welcome. I've never had a problem with being able to get an appointment nor booking an appointment once they know I have a voucher to use. Thankyou ladies for making me feel beautiful whenever I visit x

I am so upset with this salon. After having a voucher given to me for this salon I tried to book in for a facial about 1/2 weeks before the voucher was due to expire, as soon as I told her it was a voucher I had all attitude toward me changed, who ever I spoke with had absolutely no interest in booking me in, sounding very disinterested ( I assume because they had already been paid for the job ) they would only give me dates for after the voucher had expired and refused to honour it after this expiry date, even though I was calling nearly 2 weeks prior. after a heated conversation with the girl I stated that I would take my business elsewhere from now on, to which she replied ' that doesn't bother me, I have enough clients any way'.
I am old enough now to not be intimidated my people like this but I was just in utter shock. after talking to a few friends this isn't unusual etiquette for the ladies in this salon. They have my money and treated me like this. I would avoid them at all costs and I have reported them to trading standards.
