Disappointed donation

Sedgley shop volunteers most unpleasant great charity but staff need lessons in how to deal with people, would not donate there again, most disappointed

Shocked by reviews

I have used this shop quite a few times, I am appalled by the reviews. This shop is staffed by volunteers, and from using the shop I would say that some of them have disabilities themselves. If you use the shop have some compassion. If you and all your family are healthy and have all of your faculties, BE GRATEFUL, it is not everyone's experience. They may operate at a slower pace than you are used to in your supermarket, just be patient.

Very Expensive

Everything is the shop is vastly overpriced, which is so unnecessary as it’s all been donated. Whilst I understand the need to make money for the charity more realistic prices on second hand items would surely create a greater turnover and fall in line with the majority of Charity shops out there

great shop, shame about the lack of manners of some volunteers

We have donated and purchased items from this charity shop for several years. Once we were rudely told that a small piece of furniture wasn't wanted, no thanks for bringing it in anyway! This happened again on Saturday when we took in a heavy glass tv stand. We took the stand to The Good Shepherd charity shop in Bilston and they were very happy to take it. Good manners cost nothing, it makes all the difference.
It is a decent charity shop, but unfortunately the queues are often long.

Fantastic facilities and support for people with impaired vision

My mum attends the centre two days per week and is always kept thoroughly entertained and well supported by the friendly staff and volunteers. It is vital social interaction for her and the other visually impaired and blind service users.
The facilities such as the hairdressers and cafe are great and the charity shop is great. The poor reviews are not representative of the centre as a whole. The gentleman that people have referred to in less favourable reviews of the shop has worked there for a long time - his attitude is not for lack of training and I suspect is not something he can help. If there were more people giving up their time to volunteer, he could be even better supported and the queue might move more quickly :)
