The Barley Mow Inn

I visited this pub in the evening for a meal, excellent service from the staff, couldnt ask for anything better. The food arrived quickly and tasted great. I will be sure to return many times again.

The most cosy country pub you will ever find. The food is great and very reasonable. All food is freshly cooked Mike the chef and owner will cook any dish you request. not many paces can clain to do this. Keep up the good work Mike Thanks from Nick and Liz

I have been using this pub for several years. I find the food very good. Alway freshly prepared, well presented and a great selection of traditional dishes or some adventuious dishes on the "Specials" blackboard. Always friendly and welcoming. Well worth a try, but this secret is well hidden.

Having seen this pub advertised in my Local gym with a discount to members we thought it must be good. What a letdown. The service was dreadful sat down at table 7.45 and at 9.00 still had'nt seen main course! The 'Specials board' advertised duck which was well and truly overcooked. The service from behind the bar was just as bad - really slow!! Wont be returning.
