Great pub

Great pub ideally located in the Market Square. Cheap beer too and friendly staff

Management take advantage of ill staff

They treat the staff very badly, refusing to pay staff, and take advantage of staff who end up in hospital. The management is controlling, rude, and abuse staff. Avoid at all costs if you care about the treatment of staff.

Much improved and great atmosphere!

The new owners Beardy and Becks have really made a massive difference to this pub, great atmosphere, good entertainment and they have removed all of the old bad elements, good prices on beer, great service - the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night for sure!
