TFU Driver Training

I am a fully qualified DSA approved Driving Instructor (ADI). I have in excess of 25 years advanced driving experience. This is due to serving for 30 years as a Police Officer where I qualified as a Police Advanced Driver in 1991. This also included an Advanced Pursuit qualification. I went on to serve within roads policing where safety and setting an example are paramount.

I went further to qualify as an Approved Driving Instructor with the AA and also became a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM).

I am fully committed to ensure that my students go on to be safe, competent and confident drivers.

The vehicle I teach in is a Ford Fiesta Titanium with dual controls. It is easy to drive with good all round visibility and therefore makes it an ideal training vehicle.

We offer a range of training which can be planned and performed to fit your personal needs.

The training is broken down into the following categories:

Starter training - for the completely new driver with no experience at all.

Learner - for the driver with some experience but needs additional training prior to their test.

International Conversion - for the driver who holds a foreign driving licence and needs training to achieve a UK driving test standard.

We also offer development training:

Advanced - post test training to assist the driver to acquire advanced driving techniques.

Motorway - to assist the driver to feel confident on our motorway network.

Refresher - if drivers are returning to driving or want to update their driving skills.
