From the first visit to our last tenderpaws has been the most amazing vets, nothing has every been to much trouble , our dog was always taken great care off and we really couldn’t have wished for anything more . They were so caring and understanding when the time came to say goodbye to him and if we every get another dog we wouldn’t go anywhere else with him

when we had an emergency with our puppy they kept us informed and made calls to find us a specialist- even now a couple of years on they ask how he is and remember him!

Tenderpaws have been nothing but amazing to our family. We are incredibly lucky to have them so locally. The vets are incredibly knowledgeable as you’d expect and through the pandemic they have been working their socks off to keep the best standards of service going. It is now 20+ years since we started going here and we are still happy. We are always greeted without judgement because of our worries and concerns about our animals, from Gerbils to Budgies, Dogs and Cats, they have looked out for us, free of judgement and bewilderment about how worried and concerned we are for the welfare of our animals.

Presented with a large bill!! No “ok so your bill is three hundred and fifty pounds and you’ve had XY&Z”
All I got was ‘Your bill is three five two and 20 pence!”

This isn’t dfs where you try and make the sofas sound less expensive- we are all adults. I shouldn’t be needing to clarify what the figure is in ‘adult terms’ in order to comprehend.

The Eastern European vet was also extremely pushy and confused her ‘would’s’ from her ‘wouldn’ts’ making a very stressful time even more so. Then making ‘ooooo’ faces like a rogue builder does when trying to rip off an old women for the roof she didn’t need.

Needless to say I got a second opinion the day after at a well known veterinary group locally and they did the same checks. Said that the dog seemed very well and happy and to monitor her. Let with a £45 forty five pound check up bill!
Never again. Good customer with four dogs lost.

During my last visit I walked out with a bill for £300 without being told about any of the prices along the way. They asked whether I wanted to be texted for reminder to give me cat Advocat to which I replied no. But in the last couple of months I’ve had texts and phone calls from the vet seemingly trying to drum up more business from me. The last call was a voice message saying that I should “really be doing this” for the sake of my cat. For me, it just all feels uncomfortable and a bit too sales focused. The actual service from the vets has been fine. It’s just the high pressure sales
