TeakyFinders is a family run team who sources and restores furniture from the mid century. Between us, we have over 40 years of experience within woodworking, furniture restoration and working with fabric. It has been a shared passion to utilise and upcycle many second hand items, along with a love for quirky collectibles and well designed, practical furniture that has led to the creation of TeakyFinders.

It is the mid century design period that we have fell in love with. We have found that each piece from the retro era has its own charm and unique style. We found ourselves buying our first vintage Ercol dining suite followed by a Nathan Teak Circles sideboard. We then sourced a Turnidge of London Teak Cocktail Bar. Very quickly we found we had an abundance of G plan, McIntosh and other retro furniture. We wanted to share our passion, so started selling refurbished items online.

Since then we have been hand sourcing many items from our choice of household brands i.e. G plan, White and Newton, McIntosh, Elliott’s of Newbury, Avalon and also Meredew. We also source high end Danish designer furniture, for example Harry Ostergaard and Kofod Larsen. All our wonderful items are then restored and refinished making sure that each item is in the best condition to be enjoyed and cherished for years to come.
