Took my mothers ring in in a very sorry state. Was given a price and roughly told it would be a week or so. Imagine my delight when the very same day I had a call to say it was all ready and they had actuallydone more work on it than they quoted free of charge! My mum was over the moon as she hated being without it.

Took my wife’s engagement ring in for repair a few days before Christmas and received an excellent service (the repair was carried out the same day). You can see the workshop at the back of the showroom which gave me confidants that the repair would be carried out on site and was not just going to be sent out to another company and then they just add on additional costs.

Offered a competitive price for some custom jewellery. But a few days after this was agreed and the work had "started" they demanded twice the price (considerably more than other local jewellers). On top of this the woman was rude about it and explained it away by the person who gave us the quote having a bad day, not even an apology.

Avoid.
