Tapi Carpets & Floors Kirkcaldy

The fitters did a terrible job of fitting the carpet on our stairs which looked awful. I complained to Tapi and they said it could be resolved. We have just had the second of our carpets fitted today and the same fitters came and were supposed to fix the carpet on our stairs. The fitter had an appalling attitude, saying he didn’t understand what needed changing and that it was not possible to improve - but he would remove the staples. During their time in my house, the fitters made black marks on our freshly painted walls and broke two antique picture frames which fell from the wall, damaging the wall and radiator below. Their attitude about this was not acceptable. They also do not appear to have done anything to resolve the problems on the second set of stairs and the first set now has gaps where the carpet is coming away from the wall! To top it off, the response from the store was also unacceptable.

Good range of flooring on offer. Customer service is very poor. Put us off buying.

Decided to purchase stair carpet from Tapi after reading the thousands of great reviews on 'trustpilot'. All of which told me a very similar positive story.
Firstly carpet was cut short , fitter tried to hold the hole together by adding even more staples?Manager agreed that carpet was cut short and would fray. A second fitter fixed the botched job and 4 weeks later whilst hoovering I discovered a hole , the carpet was fraying in a different area because it was cut short. So manager will once more visit today.
Last carpet lasted 15 years before any signs of wear and tear, this one will not last the year . Badly laid they will patch it up . Wonderful . Waste of money, stressful . Shame you cannot put pictures on here. Just avoid
