Talk to the Hound Dog Training & Behaviour

This course was great as is Jules and her training. Very supportive and answered many, many questions that I had and offered lots of advice. Indie and I really enjoyed this course and would definitely recommend.

We had been working with another trainer but their training methods didn’t suit us or our dog. We then tried puppy classes but found we were to far behind to catch up. As a result we looked for a 1:1 trainer to go right back to basics with our 6 month old pup, and we found Jules. We had 5 1:1 sessions with Jules and now have a pup who is easy to control and much more confident. Jules has been a godsend, exactly what we all needed, great with our pup and very patient with us. We really liked the follow up emails detailing what we did in our training and the video links that showed how to do each training objective. We would definitely recommend Jules to anyone looking for a puppy trainer.

Thoroughly enjoyed the 6 week puppy class that Jules runs, so much so that we are following on with the foundation course. Jules has a wonderful training manner with both pups and owners and always makes time for everyone’s questions. We have learnt a great deal from the positive enforcement training that she provides and our excitable cockapoo has taken to the training well and can now follow all the basic commands taught. Our puppy missed out on a lot of socialisation and training because he needed cage rest for 8 weeks whilst healing from a broken leg when only 10 weeks old. As a family, we had 3 one to one sessions with Jules which helped guide us and accelerate our understanding on how best to incorporate good behaviour and training. It was also great to get reassurance from a professional on what was normal, and what our expectations levels should be so as not to get disheartened when training did not always go well. There are great hints and tips on YouTube, however we found it much more beneficial and rewarding learning from Jules's expertise in a more hands on environment. We have still a way to go, but we truly feel that we are further ahead and progressing in the right direction because of the training sessions. Thank you Jules!
