Guarantee is NOT worth the paper it’s written on!

I rate this company a 0*
Worst service ever. Had damp proofing done and was issue a 20yr guarantee. It’s not worth the paper it’s written on. Been trying to call for 3mths left many messages. Until Terry finally called. I was told to send my certificate and almost 3weeks later (after chasing) I received a letter. The letter is basically asking for money to inspect the damp and spells out all the reasons why I might not be covered. It’s a letter full of excuses. It feels like I’d be paying for an inspection only to be told I am not covered. It’s an absolute outrage that people like me end up letting people like Terry get away with bad practice because we know that will probably end up spending loads of money and time to end up nowhere. I doubt Terry has ever honoured a guarantee for anyone!

Didn’t do agreed work

Their work may be fine, however don’t assume if you agree a quote and time for the work to commence they will turn up. I have emailed and phoned numerous times with either no response by email and a polite secretary that promises to pass my message on to no avail. I’d hope this lack of proffesionalism does not extend to the quality of their work.

Quality and reliability

Terry and Alex have worked for me on a sub contract basis for the last 20 years and in all that time they have always delivered good quality work on time and to budget and I see no reason for that to change in the future
