The bloke at the counter helped me a lot when I went in for some wellies. Glad to say I took his advice and the wellies have been perfect (they are Buckbootz).

Generally the staff seem unhappy and rude, I’ve only ever come across two staff members who are polite. The lad who works in the landscaping area is very helpful and pleasant. The staff in the main office need re-training.

Also there system of not being able pay over the phone is ridiculous, I have lads working all over Cheshire who need to pop in and pick up materials and they have no system in place to call and pay over the phone. Literally the only company that won’t let you pay over the phone and they also have a limit on Apple Pay.

In all I only use this company as a last resort or if it’s on my doorstop of a job. Otherwise I would never use this company again.

Used this company for a new kitchen and bathroom. The only pre-requisite was that we kept our Aga and our 50/50 Fridge Freezer. They designed the kitchen/Bathroom and we purchased. Not withstanding damaged, late and broken items we got a call one morning to say our fridge freezer wouldn't fit and in any event they made 70/30 doors. Two weeks before Christmas we were forced into buying a new smaller fridge freezer to ensure we had something installed. They specified taps for the bathroom with a minimum bar pressure way more than we had. So we have a trickle. Numerous other problems.

What was really upsetting was their complete indifference, and blank stares to complaints. ( Not me gov approach.!!) They even accused me of turning down new worktops which was factually incorrect.

Staff need properly supervising to ensure what they do is correct. After all customers buy from them in good faith. What they really need to learn though is how to speak to customers.! Just Awful.!!!!!!!!!!

Placed an order with them for several hundred pounds, promised delivery first thing rang them mid morning to be told it wouldn't be with me till after lunch
