Sussex Equine Hospital

The Arundel Equine Hospital provides state of the art technology and professional care for horses and ponies of all breeds and sporting endeavours. The practice originated in 1950 and enjoys accreditation by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as an Equine Hospital. The ambulatory team of veterinary surgeons provide equine care across Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey. Directors Ed Lyall, Rob van Pelt and Matt Waterhouse are currently supported by 12 veterinary surgeons, a nursing team, laboratory technicians and administrative staff.

The vets are backed up by the hospital which continues to develop and constantly improve its facilities which currently include full in patient facilities with 24 hour veterinary supervision and nursing care, digital radiography, high resolution ultrasonography, videoendoscopy, gastroscopy, nuclear scintigraphy, onsite laboratory and an operating theatre where all types of surgery can be performed including colic and orthopaedic cases.
