Summerdale Veterinary Centre is an independent, family run small animal practice, established in 1994. We have excellent surgical, X-ray and ultrasound facilities. We also provide dental facilities, endoscopy, ECG, anaesthetic and blood pressure monitoring.

Outside our core opening hours, we provide an on site 24 hour emergency service staffed by our own experienced vets and nurses.

In dealing with Alan and his team, I found that they are not only professionals in their field but also they do care for the pets they treat. Very knowledgable, working out of hours , they cure where possible and explain everything in detail and also they are very patient not only with pets but also with their owners.

Professional and caring local practice.

I met Alan 30 years ago with my first dog. The team has always been brilliant with my subsequent dogs throughout their lives. I’ve had to call them on three occasions with three different life threatening problems. They pulled them through with prompt and out of hours treatments. I can’t recommend them enough.

Fantastic Vets

Been going to Summerdale for a number of years and I must say, they are excellent. Always prepared to listen and to offer advice. Very good with small animals i.e Rabbits. I feel that they go beyond the call of duty.
