Completed spring 2018, this residential development of 13 apartments replaced two former semi-detached dwellings on this prominent district centre site. The sustainable design utilises the latest combined ventilation, heating and hot water technology within a fabric first construction.
The design of two new maisonettes at 114 Mill Road blends old and new to reinvigorate the street scene, while creating a sustainable location to live and shop. The reworked and remodelled retail site ensures the long term viability of an existing Victorian shop building, synonymous with its location
Winner of the Cambridge Design and Construction Awards 2016 for Best New Small Building under £2m. The residential development of 15 studio, one and two bedroom dwellings around a central communal courtyard took a Fabric First approach for its low energy construction.
