String King Guitar Works

Came with my son to get a output jack replaced on his first guitar (bought on Ebay).

John was incredibly friendly, and fixed it fantastically.

Price was very reasonable, and son has been playing it almost non-stop ever since!

Any more guitar needs, or if anyone asked for a recommendation, I know exactly where I'd send them!

John literally breathed new life into my 30yr old Fender Stratocaster. The refret was better than the original and with a new nut and set up it now plays better than ever. Fantastic service at a great price. Will definitely be back for all my guitar needs.

I just got my pickup replaced by John and he was very friendly and helpful and got the job done quickly. I've spoken to him on the phone in the past and he has given me very helpful advice for free! I had quite a low budget and John was extremely accommodating. My new pickup sounds amazing and I will be taking my guitar back to John if I need any work done on it in the future!

I've brought a couple of guitars to John at this point since November last year and I have to say I'm super impressed.

The first things I noticed within moments of meeting him were his genuinely friendly manner and comfortably knowledgeable way of talking over my requirements with me. Excellent first impression.

Both of the guitars I've gotten back from him are playing better than they ever have. With the Epiphone Les Paul I just got back from him yesterday, I genuinely worried I'd messed up the truss rod nut too much for him to work with, but after a bit of research into tools he was still able to help. Been jamming away on it for hours since yesterday.

Great service, excellent quality of work, reasonable prices and turnaround time. I've really struggled to find a workshop in London where I've been consistently happy with the work but I think I've finally found my go to place. Lots of upgrades/repairs planned for the future which I will definitely be bringing to String King.

New nut, replaced pickups, full set up with my 10-60 strings in D standard on my 2013 Gibson SG.
Its like a different beast. John really brought my guitar to life and to its full potential for my style of hard playing.
Even with a good thrashing it plays with ease and stays perfectly in tune, intonated right up to the 24th fret!
It sounds so good.
I cant reccommend String King highly enough. Amazing.
