I was charged £370 today for a £30 MOT and a change of 4 filters!! What on earth? Oh and £1 for washer top up. The young mechanic who rang me to say me car need extra things done at a phenomenal price was in fact very nice, very personable, polite and attentive, obviously embarrassed at having to try to talk customers into paying for more work. The guy who took my money well, I'm still waiting for him to smile. He told me that I would receive a survey soon and if I didn't give them 5 out of 5 then the mechanics suffer and loose bonus! Talk about giving someone a guilt trip.
