We are British Marine Federation (BMF) members and all our boats are built to Recreational Craft Directive (RCD) and Boat Safety Standards.

install a wood burner

Stoke Boats have done it again on our boat "Skooks. For us, this time, they have removed one of the toilets and put in a wood burner. The workmanship and finished job are second to non. Also, because of the nature of the work they have carried out, the mess created was an absolute minimum and was cleaned up very well when they had finished.
The people at Stoke Boat are always pleasant and happy to go with any plans (providing they are plausible) that are put to them.
We have had a lot of work done by Stoke Boats and the standard of work is outstanding, that's why we keep going back. Thanks to everyone :-)

Excellent work. Friendly staff.

We had our boat in Longport Wharf for some remedial work on he hull.
Russ and Matt were very helpful and made us feel very welcome.
Matt assessed the condition of he hull and over a week carried out pit-welding and rebuilding of the sacrificial edge of the base plate at the stern end, followed by 2-pac blacking of the affected area.
The quality of the work was outstanding, was completed in the agreed time, and for the agreed price. We would have no hesitation in recommending Longport Wharf.

Top service from the team at Stoke boats. I've had new sacrificial edges welded on, pit welding where necessary and grit blasted and epoxy coating on the whole hull. The works were carried out in a timely manner with excellent results.
I would definitely use them again and can recommend them very highly.

The quality of my fit out is outstanding. For me, one of Stoke Boats stand out features is their ability to customise boats and meet individual requirements. Whether thats a specific layout or your own unique design. This level of customisation truly sets them apart from other boat builders.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We have just picked up our brand new boat from this wonderful company...

...this was a lucky find from our point of view, having been let down by another company. This was the first boat that they have built from scratch since the buyout. They have been totally amazing to work with; our boat is very bespoke...but they have been amazing. Always pleased to see us, involving us in every decision that needed to be made, and giving us a quality of workmanship that we've never seen on another boat. Thank you so much! Small, friendly boat yard. My first experience of canal boat life. We launched a 60footer there and had to move all personal bits and bobs aboard. Nothing was a hassle. Staff very accommodating. Great place to start our journey south and avoid lots of closures further north.

Stoke-on-Trent Boat Building Co at Longport Wharf have just blacked my Springer. They put it on a kind of trailer, black the exposed hull, then move it along a few feet to black the bits that were missed. I wanted the (narrow) baseplate blacked and they were fine to do that. They also blacked the weedhatch. I arrived Monday and back in the canal Thursday morning. It looks a good job. Sorry I didn't think to take a photo.

They took us in at quite short notice, fixed a leaking water tank and left us with a better boat due to quality of joinery repairs afterwards.
