I needed some alterations made to my wedding dress and Rachel came very highly recommended. After fitting a new zip and rearranging some lace applique, my dress was perfect! Rachel is so skilled and conscientious in her work, I knew my dress was in the best hands. She is also absolutely lovely :) I've recently visited her studio again for alterations to a bridesmaid dress and had the same wonderful experience - thank you, Rachel!

Rachael altered my daughters prom dress. She gave us an hour and a half while we discussed options without rushing us. Her advice was spot on and she did a complicated alteration beautifully. We are thrilled with the finished results. Rachael is a lovely, friendly professional dressmaker who clearly knows her stuff. We highly recommend her.

As a returning customer I asked rachel to design a pattern and make a prom dress out of tafeta silk for my daughter. Rachel took our initial ideas and translated them into fabulous sketch es. ..made a pattern...and sculpted the unique dress ...sample fitting appointments enabled simple alterations for a perfect fit. Rachel guided us all the way through the design...material and colour choice through to accessory choices using her 20yrs experience. Her attention to detail quality of work and client service is outstanding.
The finished dress is stunning.
Her tailoring skills ie jackets coats waistcoats and special occasion wear are equally beautifully made.

After I phoned Rachel I had an appointment within a couple of weeks for my bridal dress. Upon arrival Rachel welcomed us into her seamstress studio in a beautiful setting in her garden after being sold a bridal dress which was two sizes two big on the top half of my body I was very concerned what the outcome would be as it was all lace. I also had a bridal belt which had to be sewn into my dress which arrived broken from the dress shop, I was even more anxious of the final outcome but Rachel assured me everything would be fine.
After waiting a couple of weeks as I was not in a rush to get my dress as I had left plenty of time for the alteration, I have pick my dress up today and was absolutely amazed with the outcome of my dress. Rachel has done a beautiful alteration of my dress after being sold a dress which was far to big for me, and you would never know that the dress had been altered or the belt was broken.
