Steve Withers Courier Services Light Haulage

Steve and his team clearly know what they are doing when moving large and heavy items of furniture in tight spaces. No knocks, scrapes or dents in furniture or paintwork. Quick work, no fuss, no mess, very obliging and considerate. I will definitely be using Steve Withers Courier & Removals again. Highly recommended.

I was moving from sussex to yorkshire and used Steve and the team. First he messed me around with the delivery date 3 days before he was booked as he'd got another customer he was trying to accomodate, then they were 30 mins late to deliver even though they were staying 10 mins away. My mum had to do the majority of lifting when loading the van, and my boyfriend was tasked with the lions share on delivery. And then they lost 2 of my boxes worth over £150 of essential kitchen stuff. Steve then went on to refuse to take any responsibility for this and refused to contact his insurers as he didn't think it would be covered as he hadn't done an inventory. This was my fault apparently, his customer. He then accused me of lying about it. I'm now having to reimburse all my stuff he lost whilst he was delivering to another customer before me out of my own pocket.

He and his mate was later than I thought he would be. My 3 elderly dogs were asleep and having told them to wait a minute while I put them in the kitchen. One dog took a while to stir and move due to her being deaf and fast asleep.
Having let the chaps in I commented it took a few mins to get them into the kitchen out of the way. Steve said 'and no control'. This I found very rude.

We've been working with Steve for a couple of years now and we cannot praise him and his team highly enough. Apart from being very competitively priced, they are reliable, careful and very, very helpful! Thank you Steve for all your hard work.
