We Service, Repair, Upgrade all manner of bicycles from Adult to children's all at competitive rates. We also sell Squish Kids Bikes,Dawes and Claud Butler to order.

Steel Town Cycles are a family owned and run bicycle shop. With a qualified professional bicycle mechanic providing Sales, Service, repair and upgrades throughout County Durham. We Have a three level service menu: Tune up, Standard and Deluxe, which cover the most commonly recommended maintenance jobs. In addition we are able to undertake most other work on a variety of bikes from kids to adults, Mtb to Road - we cover it all. We are able to supply and fit components and accessories from a range of manufacturers to suit most budgets. Customers are welcome to supply their own parts which will be fitted for a charge.

Fantastic service from john at steel town cycles. Brought a broken wheel rim in expecting to be told it would require a new one. However he went above and beyond replacing no less than 6 spokes and ensuring the wheel was trued. Only £25 which is half the cost of a basic new wheel which mine wasn’t. Many thanks and highly recommended

Dropped road bike off to have new derailleur/cassette fitted and gears set-up. Work carried out to a high standard to the agreed price. Bike picked up after hours at my convenience. More than happy with the work carried out. Would definitely recommend using Johnathan's services.
