Poor Qualty Tiles

Less than 6 years after this company installed a new roof on my house it's covered in yellow lichen. This can damage the roof and has to be removed. No other roofs in my area are suffering from this even though they are decades old. This suggests poor quality tiles were used on my roof . The company refuse to engage except to say its not covered on the guarantee. It will cost the best part of £2000 to fix. Please consider this before employing this company.

AVOID AT ALL COST

Appalling customer service. Did a job and left us with problems. Had them come out to rectify. Few months later and had another problem and they are arguing saying they didn’t do it and will not sort their mistake. Avoid them at all cost. Receptionist and new owner are the most rudest people you will ever have the misfortune to deal with

Whilst we admit that we do not get everything right all of the time on this occasion we have been asked by you to rectify work that we had not previously carried out for you. You asked us to re-fix vertical tiles near the boundary with your neighbour, when we had renewed your porch roof and renewed a few tiles directly above this. I am sorry you think the owner (myself) was rude to you having never actually spoken with you before.

Highly recommend

We employed Staydry to completely strip, rebatton, fix “felt” membrane and slate on a large Victorian farmhouse. Great team of roofers polite, pleasant and efficient. Would recommend without hesitation. We had 4quotations all from recommended roofing companies Staydry were the cheapest and I have no doubt we made the right decision. The work was carried out early summer 2019.

flat roof

i used Stay Dry Roofing to replace a flat roof and also deal with various guttering and facias around the house.
the process of instructing them was very good. Stay Dry roofing were around to my house within a few days of getting in touch to provide a quote, which itself was provided almost straight away.
the price was very competitive.
when carrying out the work the workmen were clean, tidy and did a fantastic job. they were also very nice and informative throughout. I was happy to leave them at the house whilst i went to work.
would highly recommend this company's services to anyone that needed roofing works.
