Star Bounce

Decided to have a party at short notice and this company not only booked us in straight away but also were cheaper than other quotes I had been given. The staff are friendly and reliable. Will definetly be using them again........From past experience with other castle companys these are defenately at the top of there game in my opinion.....thanks

I do NOT recommend Star Bounce. I booked a bouncy castle from Star Bounce for my son’s 4th birthday party. I booked it a few weeks in advance of the party and the day before the party I rang them up to reconfirm that I definitely still wanted the bouncy castle. The man said not to worry; they would be there at 12 noon the next day to set it up as planned. The next morning (the day of the party) at 8.10 am the man from Star Bounce rang me to say that all his other bookings had cancelled as the weather forecast was for rain and he asked if I wanted to cancel. I said I would discuss it with my husband but explained I didn’t really want to cancel as my son was so excited about having a bouncy castle. I rang the party venue and asked if we could have the bouncy castle inside but unfortunately we couldn’t. I then ran the man at Star Bounce and asked if we could change the booking from the Jungle Bouncer (with slide) to the Superhero bouncer (without slide) as most of the Superhero bouncer would be covered by the rain cover so it wouldn’t matter as much about the rain. He said this was fine. I reconfirmed I still wanted the booking. He said he would ring me at 11.30 am before he set off.
At 11.30 am he didn’t ring me so when it got to 11.49 am I rang him. He didn’t answer so I left a message saying we definitely still wanted the bouncy castle (as I had already stated) and I would see him shortly at 12 noon. At 12.28 pm he hadn’t turned up at the venue so I tried to ring him to find out where he was. Over the course of the next hour I rang him 14 times and he didn’t answer once. I also texted him twice and he didn’t reply. As you can imagine I was really upset for my little boy and he was very disappointed. He is only 4. We had a party full of kids expecting a bouncy castle and no bouncy castle. Ironically, after him going on about the fact it was going to rain all afternoon, it didn’t rain that much at all and the kids spent most of the time outside (thank God for a football!).
After the party I checked my phone to see that the man from Star Bounce had replied at 3.08pm. He tried to blame me for the fact he hadn't turned up. He said I hadn’t rang him at 11.30am so he thought I had changed my mind. I had already reconfirmed the booking a few times that morning and told him I didn't want to cancel because my little boy was so excited about the bouncy castle. Plus, he definitely said to me (and I mean definitely) that he would ring me at 11.30am, NOT the other way around . When he didn’t ring me I rang him at 11.49am to reconfirm AGAIN and he didn’t answer the phone. When I voiced my dismay at his behaviour (via text) he said that he had taken his kids to see his Grandma who was very ill. I hope his Grandma is okay and know it is incredibly difficult when a loved one is so ill but I still can’t understand his actions. If he had rung me and told me his Grandma was ill of course I would have understood and then I would have searched for another bouncy castle company. However, he never mentioned his Grandma when I spoke to him several times the night before and the morning of the party. The first time he mentioned her was after the party when I told him that my son had been really upset and I would be leaving a review stating the appalling service I received from Star Bounce. He then said I was leaving a review in spite. I assure you this is not the case. All I have done is state the facts as I don’t want another child to have their party spoilt by Star Bounce. I will not be using Star Bounce again and neither will any of my friends. They were disgusted when he didn’t turn up. I give them 0 stars out of 5 for the service I received (the review wouldn't let me click 0 stars).

Excellent service, Great value for your money and highly recommended to everybody wanting a bouncy castle or other fun inflatables.
