Every StaffGap personnel will arrive with a comprehensive profile including evidence of training, a DBS, and an energy and enthusiasm to deliver our excellent standards in a way that meets you and your service users’ needs.

All our staff are recruited to Care Quality Commission requirements and will undergo a thorough recruitment process including

• An initial interview

• An enhanced DBS check

• Minimum of 2 written references

• A health declaration

• Verification of identity & work permit status (if applicable)

All StaffGap personnel will be trained with a person-centred care approach, and be given relevant and up to date mandatory training including:

• Safeguarding

• Equality and diversity

• DOLS

• COSHH

• Moving and Handling – theory & practical

• Health and Safety

• Food Hygiene

• Infection control

• First Aid awareness

• Nutrition and fluids

• Fire awareness

• Medication awareness

• Use of PPE
