Don't go here - the owner is lovely, but his mechanic is rude and incompetent

TL;DR - The owner of Sprocket Cycles is well-meaning and is a really nice guy. It’s a shame he leaves his business in the hands of incompetent and rude staff.
Brought my bike in because my gears needed tuning. When I turned up, after buying lots of accessories, the mechanic spent all of 2 seconds turning the gear limiter, then sent me on my way. For a fiver, you'd think he’d check if he had adjusted the limiter properly. On my way home, chain came off and got jammed so that I had to bend the sprocket to get it out.
I returned and asked if they could replace the sprocket and also affix the kickstand on properly. The owner was friendly and he said he’d deduct the £5 service and it’d take a couple of days. A week later, still no phone call. They had completely forgotten about my bike and was told it’d take another 2 days.
When collecting, the mechanic was very rude, hadn't even affixed the stand properly, he also added £5 on top of the quoted price and also wouldn't give the discount.

Recently took my road bike into Sprocket to be repaired. The job was completed in a day and the friendly staff clearly explained to me what needed to be done. The bike has been riding great since I would recommend this shop for sound knowledge and good service.
