An excellent, truly local taxi service. I recently need a taxi quickly in difficult circumstances and Spike and Co went to a lot of trouble to help me out. In spite of bad weather and loads of people wanting taxis they took me and my cat to the vets for emergency treatment. I will always be grateful and cannot speak to highly of them.

Assisted us in the case of a breakdown so it was a last minute booking and not at all straight forward. Catherine was just so helpful and both service and communication was excellent. Cost of the job was also very fair. Will definitely be using again. Thank you very much for your assistance.

My best friend and I rolled into Truro on September 23 and needed some transportation to see the local 1975 Poldark sites. I had phoned Spike from the train from Heathrow and he went way out of his way to accommodate us. For three solid days Spike, Simon and Steve worked around their busy schedules to show us some of the most spectacular scenery and places that we've ever seen. We'll never forget the stories, the laughs, the history, even the wonderful cream tea at Botallack. It was more like having a friend driving us around than a taxi service. Spike drove my husband and me to and from the Newquay airport. We also had him show us around for a day. He helped us find my great-grandfather's birthplace and great-great grandparents' graves based on the info we brought with us. He is so proud of his Cornish heritage and has a beautiful sanguine personality. I wish I could give him 10 stars! I am so glad the other two drivers my husband tried to book did not respond. The roads in Cornwall are very narrow and curvy. On paper it looked like we could spend less money and rent a car, but those roads are really something else. Spike knows how to drive them and make it look easy. And there is no way we would have seen all those beautiful sites in a week on our own, let alone the one day tour he gave us. Spike Rox!!!

Friendly, professional, and knowledgeable! We've just returned from a week's vacation in Cornwall, and were so fortunate to find Spike and his terrific crew of drivers. With their help we were able to explore all corners of the county: old churches, cemeteries, historic homes, museums, prehistoric sites, tasty meals, everything we had hoped for and more. Much more than we could have found on our own. I'd give ten stars if I could!
