Positive consultation with Spencer Shaw over redundancy terms

Following a decision at my employer to make me redundant, I consulted Spencer Shaw over my settlement terms. They were able to see me within a matter of days of my contacting them and explained what this meant to me. Our discussions resulted in one significant improvement in the terms, plus a number of other worthwhile clarifications, and an increase in the redundancy payment, on account of a misunderstanding over the calculation basis at the company. I was very pleased with how quickly Spencer Shaw were able to meet with me and the level of knowledge and understanding they demonstrated and would be happy to recommend them to other colleagues/contacts facing similar circumstances.

Very helpful and professional

I contacted Ian Jones for some advice on employment law and have to say that I found both him and his staff to be very professional, helpful and accomodating. Ian explained the issues in clear english and pointed out where some options may be advantagous, or otherwise to me. I would certainly recommend him to anyone in need of advice in this area.

I am just a normal working person with not much idea of employment laws so when I was unfairly dismissed from my workplace I was unsure what to do. A professional job very well executed

I approached the firm and requested their advice and assistance on a complex employment contract with an overseas Employer. They calmly listened to my concerns with the draft document, responded with their advice, and redrafted the document very quickly over a weekend. They then provided very good ongoing support during protracted negotiations, until the contract was executed satisfactorily. A very professional service.
