Freelance illustrator Nigel Spaven is an established cartoonist and illustrator of 24 years experience. Producing original and unique illustration in various styles, from educational projects, advertising and marketing, children’s storybooks, to bespoke illustration and animated video for occupational health and safety training and awareness campaigns.

NIGEL SPAVEN - Most talented and versatile graphic artist I’ve ever met!

Having returned to my native North East after a successful career as a creative at the highest level in the advertising industry in London, I first met Nigel Spaven some 20 years ago. I noticed his cartoon advertisement in the Yellow Pages - now Yell. I have used Nigel ever since for all my graphic art. He is a ‘natural’. As well as being a talented and excellent illustrator and cartoonist, he is also a great concept man. He accurately interprets and enhances on screen what’s in my head bringing it vibrantly to life. Nigel has the patience of a saint and is a joy to work with. I highly recommend him.
