We have a highly experienced workforce that operates to the highest possible standards. Offering a person centred approach Southern Family Care provides a broad spectrum of support services depending on an individualÂ’s needs with support provided for children and families, adults with support needs, care for older people.

We can offer services directly to clients through self-directed support and direct payment schemes. Southern Family Care also provides services privately to individuals who are looking for direct care and/or top up services.

Southern Family Care supports the personalisation of care.

Home Care for older people in their own homes, support them attend hospital or doctors appointment or attend social gatherings.
Southern Family Care provides respite for children with additional needs. This could be in the home or in the community. We can provide support from 1 hour to 24 hours.
Southern Family Care can provide wheel chair assessible transport ( with prior arrangement) along with a support worker if needed.
Southern Family Care can provide High Level Family Support to the family to assist with challenging behaviour or mental health issues.
Southern Family Care supports people in their own home to live independantly.
Southern Family Care suports older people to have fulfilled lives, either in the home or in the community.

It really is such a pleasure to be part of the southern family care, to be part of a really warm caring team. Emma always goes the extra mile supporting us and the families, which really makes it a special place to work, having someone in charge who really cares about the job and their staff, Everyday is different and comes with some challenges which often make it more special and worth it, definitely the most rewarding job I have ever had and I am so happy to be part of the family.

Above and beyond

It’s a shame there isn’t more stars. My family have been with Southern Family Care since our son was a baby. He is 15 now. Emma the manager and all the carers we’ve had shown empathy, compassion and most of all respecting our family dynamics. Emma goes above and beyond to help families thrive.

Southern Family Care were fantastic while we were building up my daughter’s permanent care team. Emma was extremely efficient and very helpful throughout the time we used her services. The staff she provided were great and very reliable. If our circumstances change where we were to ever need more care staff we will definitely use Southern Family Care again.
