At SOUTH WALES TRANSMISSIONS we specialise in repairing or reconditioning both AUTOMATIC and MANUAL gearboxes for all makes of cars,commercial vehicles,lorries

and even specialist gearboxes for some equipment.

All fully reconditioned gearboxes carry a warranty for the sooner of 12 months or 12000 miles - which is the same warranty you would get from a main dealer but typically at HALF the price. For taxis and commercial vehicles warranty is 6 months or 6000 miles.

We also do CLUTCHES and most transmission types of work.

We can also supply specialist BEARINGS.

Our slogan is WE TEST - NOT GUESS - in other words following an initial friendly call to us (01443 400928) we will give you a pretty good idea of the best options available to you and would probably recommend we do a DIAGNOSTIC TEST on your vehicle, which we do on a regular basis EVERY THURSDAY.

Lots of ordinary garages and main dealers use us to do their customers gearboxes but we will also repair loose gearboxes for customers

Good job and reasonable rate.

Took my Mercedes CLK 320 there as the automatic gearbox would not move above 2nd gear. They done an excellent job and I have still no problems 2 years later. Would recommend them as the cost was reasonable and most definitely far cheaper than going to the Mercedes dealer.

What a nightmare ! No money returned no car no keys

Don’t not go near this garage 11 weeks in total he has had my father’s vintage car which is precious to us,we have removed it from there once we paid him upfront he will not return the money, the car or the key. The owner disappears for days and weeks at a time I go there most days and repeatedly ring and text Just one lie after another, my nieces prom today and no car despite his promises no money back either he will not a answer calls and the garage is constantly locked,l.

Rubbish!take a look at their yard,charge £50 to tell you that you have an oil leak from engine and they don't do engines,nice way to earn a living.
