I'm very happy with awarding 5 stars to James as all aspects of the work was swiftly completed to that exacting standard. We found James to be not only very friendly, polite and efficient, he is a highly skilled electrician. The work was completed to an admirably hight standard. His advice concerning the choosing of the best home charger for our car has proved to be spot on. So I have no hesitation in recommending him and fully intend to use his excellent expertise for all my electrical work in the future.

I’m not sure where all these good reviews have come from as our experience certainly wasn’t good.

Messed us around with timings (a few times we wondered if he was even going to show up so had to call and ask!). Left apprentices unattended for extensive periods (most of the day, almost every day). Rude over email. Left a live wire hanging out of the wall for our plasterer to get a shock from. One of his apprentices cut through a couple of water pipes so water had to be switched off, but when we questioned when it would be fixed (as a couple of days went by with no word of when it would be fixed) he said we have a plumber so get him to fix it! All because he didn’t want to pay an emergency fee. The sockets are by no means level, they look terrible! Kept asking for instalments.
One at the start and one at the end I can understand, but 4 different payments is too many! We felt hounded for money throughout the job, even wanted the remainder when it wasn’t finished!

James was punctual, courteous, and polite. His workmanship absolutely first class, and very, very tidy.
Cannot recommend him or his company highly enough.

Although arriving a little late due to unforeseen circumstances James was soon assessing the situation and had dealt with an unexpected problem. His work was most satisfactory and extended to sleeving the old red/black/green wiring with modern with the correct current ones. He was quick and efficient and left our home spotless.

I would not hesitate to use JCElectrical again in the future and would highly recommend him to others.
