We offer a bespoke service to measure, advise, make and fit all our work. We provide a free, no obligation home visit to assess your soft furnishing needs and show you fabrics.

At Sophie Sews we are bespoke curtain makers in Woking Surrey and surrounding areas, who can provide not only curtains but also bespoke made to measure handmade blinds, cushions, tie-backs, valances and upholstery for your home.

We aim to spend time with you to build a picture of your aspirations for your home, thereby reducing the rather daunting task of choosing styles and fabrics. We really will turn your ideas into a stunning reality.

We can bring fabric books to you from most major designer fabric brands or work from fabric that you have already chosen. We can also advise on and supply curtain poles, tracks, carpets and wallpaper.

With all our curtains we use a high quality lining and if required a natural interlining to give the curtains a thick and luxurious look and feel; cushions with duck feathers.

We pride ourselves on our experience and excellent customer service. We have experienced designers and fitters to measure, fit, hang and dress of all our products.

During our initial consultation with our customers, we bring a variety of fabrics books to you for you to choose from. The fabric used in this kitchen blends beautifully with this white kitchen
The blinds are in a Roman blind style, the folds of fabric give a rich, luxurious look.
The window seat fabric matches the Roman blinds for co-ordinated look. A foam inner is comfortable and hard wearing. Piped edges on the window seat cushion gives a high-end finish.

Am only too happy to recommend Sophie and her team. From my initial enquiry, to the end product, they were at all times professional and extremely helpful. Sophie listened to my ideas and steered me in the right direction regarding fabrics and style. The curtains were ready on time and were fitted by a “perfectionist”. He adjusted and readjusted until he was entirely satisfied with the way the curtains were hanging. A brilliant job from start to finish. Would highly recommend this excellent team and will certainly be using them again in the not too distant future.

Great service with a personal approach.

Sophie did a really lovely job making curtains and blinds for my little house. She was spot on with her fabric recommendations and listened to everything I said and made excellent suggestions of ways to get around tight corners, odd shapes etc. I found her approach the complete opposite to a well known high street company that were inflexible and even more expensive. Highly recommend Sophie and her team.

I had 3 sets of blinds made and fitted and I couldn't be happier. Sophie came over and gave a free quote and very helpful advice on the type of blinds to choose, the wait for the blinds to be ready was then only about 3 weeks and the very friendly fitter then came and did a superb job of fitting them, including asking me exactly how I wanted them set up. From start to finish the process was easy and straightforward and Sophie Sews were absolutely brilliant. I'd recommend them to anybody.

Beautiful curtains and blinds

I would highly recommend Sophie Sews. From start to finish Sophie was very professional and helpful. She has a large range of beautiful fabrics to choose from and her expertise and advice really paid off in terms of which curtain style and track to go for. The quality and finish of the curtains and blinds are incredibly high and look beautiful. The fitting service was very good. I would use Sophie again in future.

Superb service

I have now had three lots of blinds and one set of curtains made by Sophie, they look brilliant. Sophie has lots of ideas, delivers and fits when she says she will. Can't recommend her too highly - and I have to lots of friends and family.
