Family-run Joinery providing fitted and freestanding furniture for private and commercial projects. Based in Cardiff and operating all over the UK.

Sonabuild specialises in all joinery aspects ranging from freestanding furniture all the way trough to full interior fit-out projects. All our pieces are handcrafted to the highest possible standard and custom-built to exactly fit your individual needs.

Our services include but are not limited to: Bespoke pieces of furniture; staircases; tailor-made kitchens; built-in-wardrobes and traditional sash windows.

With more than 17 years experience in commercial and residential building we use traditional joinery techniques to build contemporary as well as classic pieces. We work slowly and mostly by hand so that everything we build lasts a lifetime and longer. We are dedicated to work very closely with our clients to make sure their exact vision comes to life. Whether they are an architect, interior designer or private homeowner.

I have just had a contemporary door fitted from my room into my kithen/ diner, I am so pleased with the workmanship that Phillip has done,the door and frame look amazing,it has transformed the open plan, into 2rooms and the glass panels throw more light into the room, I would highly recommend sonabuild.

Tv unit

I engaged Philip to make me a custom built tv unit. It was a difficult piece to build because the specifications related to a curved area. Initially I did not think it was possible but with Philip's help he was able to provide a unique solution. I am delighted with his workmanship and the piece has been subject to much admiration from visitors to my home. I would have no difficulty in recommending Philip to anybody who needed similar work done.

Repair of Sliding Door

Phillip did an excellent job in repairing our sliding door in the garage conversion. He was very well aware of what he was doing and did it very quickly as well. We definitely recommend him and also will contact him again for any other work.
