Major print problems... Twice.

Quality was terrible... Twice. Had a run of calendars printed. All 300 had different faults: bad printing, scratches, bent corners, folded pages where folds should not be, water marks on the cover, ink transfer, bleed from other jobs. Also took a lot longer to arrive even though I'm in NI and had accounted for that. After 20 minutes on a phone got them to reprint assuring me they know what went wrong. They really didn't want to refund. The new batch arrived with 25% being the same and the rest having some sort of fault. I needed these for a charity so had to put up with that and got a 25% refund. These guys used to be good but to mess and order up on such a scale twice, shame on me for believing them. They also told me they were so busy that no one had checked the order before it left!

Poor communications and poor internal practices

Completely dropped us in the mire . Ordered a gazebo from them with promised delivery 25th August for a show on 3rd Sept and paid in full.
Rang today to check status and order not been actioned at all and do not carry stocks of gazebos!!
So cannot fulfill the order and left us totally in it as no time to get another anywhere else, they have refunded the full amount but not help us at our show, Avoid

Where do I start?! Ordered 2 x name sets of their triple layer "luxury" business cards, everything about these cards is the complete opposite of luxury! Cards arrived 2 weeks ago, firstly they only printed and sent 1 name set but charged for 2. On to the quality, the design is very basic 2 colour with a solid black background, the black literally looks like mottled grey, the cards were also meant to be 85x55mm in size, they arrived 82x55mm which threw off the perfectly centred artwork completely. Very reluctantly I agreed to a re-print on the assurance from customer service that the cards would be personally checked by the quality control manager. Well, the re-printed cards arrived today, they managed to print both name sets this time but the quality has left me gobsmacked. The background looks even worse, cards are bending in several places and they literally look like they have been trimmed with a butter knife, I genuinely mean the edges of the cards are quite literally shredded!

Excellent customer service

I had 100 brochures printed however when they arrived, there was a print sequence error. The customer service girl Laura Honey was excellent. She was polite, understanding very easy to talk to and even upgraded my covers to 250 free of charge even after I'd offered to pay for the upgrade. Will definitely be using Solopress again.

Avoid this scam company

Absolutely appalled with the service I have received. I specifically chose this printers over my usual choice as I needed the flyers for tomorrow, ready for an event on Wednesday. Whilst I was paying, the website glitched meaning that the payment was taken from my account but they have said that they have not received the payment, although the bank confirmed it and I provided a transaction ID for this. After spending the whole day chasing them, being passed from person to person and told I would be called by a manager (which never happened,) they then told me at 5.30pm that there’s is nothing they can do and they won’t post the leaflets unless I paid again, which I refused to do as I don’t see why I should pay twice when the error was on their part. They have now said that although the website glitch was their fault, they will not send the leaflets but I will still be invoiced for them and expected to pay. Avoid! Terrible customer service and an absolute shambles of a company.
