Hi, I am Sofia
I am bilingual English and Portuguese Ofsted registered childminder between Streatham Common and Norbury SW16, within walking distance to both stations.
As a Childminder, I aim to provide a safe, caring environment, where children can develop physically, socially and intellectually. I aim to work in partnership with the parents to understand the individual needs of their children and together we can monitor and develop their progress.
I understand what an emotional roller-coaster it can be finding the right person to look after your little ones, having gone through this experience myself, I have a great understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage to teach them and help them to develop and grow into happy confident children, in a safe and caring environment.
I enjoy doing the below list of activities with the children:

The most wonderful childminder
5An exemplary setting and a top-notch service
5The standard of care offered is exemplary – imaginative, varied and engaging. The activities are thoughtful and diverse, always supporting the EYFS framework, and have sped our daughter's development. We have no doubt that the glowing end-of-year report we received from the nursery owes a great deal to the support Sofia has supplied on the learning journey.
There are also regular visits to parks, museums, farms and zoos; the children have a good mix of activities, whatever the weather. The home-cooked menu is more varied than what we provide at home!
The daily reporting is excellent – we have confidence in the care that our daughter is receiving because we can see the evidence firsthand.
Sofia has been reliable, flexible and unflaggingly energetic. I would recommend her to any parent of young children.

She is absolutely amazing with the children and they look forward to spending time with her.
She always provides fun activities and learning according to their needs and capabilities ,and my children were never bored at sofia setting.
Sofia has a fantastic space indoors and outdoors for children.
She takes children out regularly to soft plays,parks ,farms, etc
Sofia loved my children as if they were her own ,wich is such a comfort and I knew they were in safe hands. Sofia is reliable,caring and passionate about her job.

5Children are happy, very safe and have lots of fun in Sofia’s care whilst learning .Sofia provides very fun educational activities and a healthy diet too.
Sofia’s house is always very clean and ready for the children to play.
Sofia does everything for the settling period to be as easy as possible for the children as well as the Parents, and for the children in her care to feel part of her family.
I would absolutely recommend Sofia as a great reliable Childminder.
