Business overview

BLASTING WITH A GENTLE TOUCH

The ‘non-destructive’ qualities of bicarbonate of soda mean that it can be safely used on a variety of materials. Unlike other blast cleaning methods, the process does not produce any heat, preventing surfaces suffering from heat distortion. This has enabled it to be used within the petro-chemical and food industries.

SodaÂ’s unique blasting qualities mean that it will only remove the dirt and paint, stopping when it reaches the substrate. So, when used to remove paint from vehicles the soda stops at the shell, whether made of steel, aluminium or alloy. When used on GRP and fibreglass the process stops at the gel coat, making it the safest option for these materials. Soda will not damage glass or rubber, allowing work to be completed without a vehicle being dismantled, particularly useful within the plant and haulage industries.

Soda is often used within the building industry to clean and remove paint on stone and brickwork. This includes graffiti removal and smoke damage.

Alloy Wheels

5
I recently had my MX-5 alloys cleaned by Soda Blasting as the people powder coating them said it was the best way to prepare wheels. I dropped them off in the morning and they were ready to collect the same day - great service and only cost £100!
Thanks guys!
