Smiths Skip Hire

In the Autumn of 2022, following a persistent drop in standards with our incumbent waste contractor, the decision was taken to move all of our business - weekly 1100 litre collections, food waste, skip hire, spoil removal, WEEE collection and road sweeper hire - to Smiths (Gloucester) Ltd.
Their service is consistently professional and customer focussed. The whole team is solutions driven - any issues are swiftly resolved. Managing our waste streams has become easier over the last 122 months - and much more cost effective; I would highly recommend Smiths.

Terrible service. Rude staff members. Wouldn't recommend to anybody whatsoever!!!!

Rude, arrogant and very unhelpful. We had previously used Smiths for 12 months and they were adequate. Following a change of structure, we found the staff in the skip department to be very patronising, hypocritical and dishonest. We stayed loyal, however, after numerous errors made by the company and the consistent letting down deliveries/returns, we choose to do business elsewhere. Adam Siolo has to be one of the worst customer service staff I’ve ever come across. Rude, uses poor vocabulary and regularly speaks over the customer. He struggled to remain calm during conversations with myself. I think it’s a shame as I have previously built up a very good relationship with one of the staff members at Smiths but that all seemed to be thrown out of the window. Finally, we found it extremely unprofessional hearing other staff members being rude and talking about you whilst being on hold. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!!!!! SPEEDY SKIPS ARE MUCH BETTER!!!

First class service and always very helpful. dealt with Ceri on a number of occasions and is always able to advise and most helpful. Highly recommend anyone looking for skip hire services.
