Smiley Faces Day Nursery

My children never went to smiley faces but if there attitude to childcare is anything like there attitude to staff your best looking elsewhere.

My daughter went for an interview here and was unfortunately not given the job. No hard feelings. She got an apprenticeship at another nursery.

They then called and said they were shirt staffed could she help out for a single day. She accepted even though she had a job but said she would of course help them.

Despite 3 different agreements and confirmations she has still not been paid.

I find this appealing as she is just 15 years old and was doing them a favour.

Steer clear of this organisation

My children hated smiley faces. They would
Cry and perform every time I dropped them off. In the end I removed my kids and placed them in another setting. The feeling of guilt is overwhelming when your working and worrying about your children being so unhappy.

I remember going in a few times and the sad looks on the kids faces was awful. This wasn’t just my kids but everyone appeared to be half asleep, or look as though they had given up trying to get out of there.

The nursery smells of damp and dirt and the nursery never communicated anything with us either. Finally smiley faces did not help or assist with potty training.

Would avoid at all Costs.

I would highly recommend Smiley Faces Day Nursery to any parent. As a first time mother away from my family, all the staff have been an excellent support system for me, from advise on weaning to aliments or illness. And this is all on top of their primary care of looking after my daughter, who has attended the nursery since 4 1/2 months old. They go above and beyond in my eyes; it’s the personal touches that make Smiley Faces so exceptional. A characterful building filled with warmth, kindness and experience. My daughter loves every minute she is with them, and has developed social skills beyond her years as a result.

I enrolled my son at 6 months old and have found the staff there to be absolutely fantastic. His every whim has been superbly catered for and I am so proud of the progress he is making with their encouragement. I would highly recommend this to any parent looking for a nursery.

All the nursery staff are excellent, very kind, caring & professional.
