Hard water spots on windscreen

My car had developed a few bad hard water spots on the front windscreen, that seemed to be etched in.
I tried my own products at home that didn't work, such as glass cleaner. Jet washing at a local car wash also didn't remove the hard water spots.
So as not to potentially waste money buying other 'DIY' products and not knowing which ones were best to buy, I decided to book my car into Smartshine Car Detailing and I was able to do this on the same day.
They:
- machine polished off the marks
- applied a hydrophobic glass ceramic coating protection (to last for 12 months), to keep the glass cleaner and prevent further water marks re-appearing
Friendly and helpful service. Very responsive on emails and calls, which is important.
Would recommend if your car needs detailing work carried out.

Car Wrap Removal Service
5Removed full car wrap hassle free without damage to paintwork.
Excellent next day appointment, on a weekend. Incredibly pleased with the results and the quality of service received was superb.
I am selling the car and therefore wanted the wrap removed to get a better price in the market. Great care taken, and the paintwork underneath is still looking brand new.

Get your new Car Inspected before Handover
5Highly recommend using Smartshine car detailing instead of what tends to be poor paint protection applied over swirls at car dealerships (yes even the new cars come with swirl marks !!!).
The process involved correction to the paint to remove dealership swirl marks damage before applying ceramic coating. Gtechniq crystal serum light applied to paintwork and C5 on wheels.
The proprietor, Harvey inspected the car with us on handover which was very helpful to have as he noticed imperfections that we wouldn’t be able address after the car had left said dealership.
As a result the dealership paid us for the damage on paintwork.
I’m very shocked how dealerships can get away with very poor preparation where clients don’t have trained eye to notice imperfections on their brand new cars.

5It was very useful to have Smartshine check car's paintwork condition prior to having it detailed/ceramic coated. Had this not been the case I would of signed paperwork and dealership would not been liable for cosmetic damage.
I received paint correction to remove swirl marks and then ceramic coatings were applied. Also leather and glass protections were applied. I have been very happy with the results.
Great attention to detail, highly recommend Smartshine, the best in the business!
